Flat Stanley

About a week and a half ago, Timothy received a letter in the mail from his good friend Ethan who moved to Tennessee last summer. Ethan had made a Flat Stanley at school and wanted to send it to Timothy so that we could show Stanley all the cool things about Washington. We were so happy to help Ethan out, it's such a cute project and we all had fun thinking of places to go and take pictures! So here are the pictures from our week with Flat Stanley!
Can't you just see the excitement on his face? Haha, he was a little confused at first about what he was supposed to do with it, but he caught on quickly!

We took Stanley to school to see his classroom and meet his teacher, Mrs. Russell.
We took Stanley to church to meet all of our friends there.
We took Stanley to the playground in our neighborhood and showed him Mt. Rainier (thank goodness we had nice weather!!)

We took him to Titlow Park and fed the ducks.

We showed him the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

And showed him some beautiful Washington daffodils!!

We took him the Point Defiance Zoo (again, so thankful for nice weather!)

And what trip to WA would be complete without a taste of some Starbucks?!

Thanks for letting us hang out with Stanley, Ethan...we miss you and your family and can't wait to see you all again!!

My little cousin Ethan sent me his Flat Stanley from Pennsylvania when we lived in Washington. Dan and I had a lot of fun taking Stanley to "see the sights" around Seattle one Saturday.

I wish we could have gone to Seattle, too much riding in the car for the little ones though!

Ethan said they read his stuff on Thursday or Friday. He couldn't remember which day :) He was so excited. I haven't seen it tho, so I'll have to check at school tomorrow.
