Eight Months Old

So I know Timothy had a big weekend this past weekend and I promise I will blog about that soon with tons of pictures, but technically Charlotte turned 8 months old two days before his 3rd birthday so I figured I should update on her first! The picture at the top is totally typical of her this month, she's cutting six teeth right now and she has been F-U-S-S-Y!!! She still has her sweet moments though and she's learned so much this month! So here is what little Miss Priss has been up to this past month.

I am such a big girl now, I have outgrown all my 6 month clothes and am officially in 9-12 month outfits now.

I started crawling and then a week or two after I mastered that, I started trying to pull up on the couches and in my crib!

I can clap my hands and wave bye-bye and I still like to grab anything within my reach (and now I can crawl to make sure whatever I want is within my reach!)

I like my brother's toys more than mine and I would rather hold his cars than my rattles.

I can go from sitting to crawling to standing to sitting and crawling and sitting again...I'm a movement master!

I am big enough to sit up in the big tub and I join my big brother in the bath tub...he splashes me, and when daddy dumps water on Timothy's head it scares me.

I like my mommy a lot and I will cry and try to jump out of your arms if you're holding me and I see mommy!

My favorite person in the whole wide world is still my big brother and he can always make me laugh. We have so much fun riding in the car together and I know when I am sad he will sing "Jesus Loves Me" until I smile.

I like to eat lots of different foods and I can eat banana puffs now too. Mommy gives me little pieces of bread and veggies and I like those better than my baby food. When I get all my new teeth I will be able to eat lots of food!

I still am very easy to put to down for bed time and nap time. Mommy sings to me and we say prayers and then I lay down and go to sleep. I have to have my little pink blankie and my seahorse though, but I can put myself to sleep like a champ!

I like my Bible class (especially now that mommy will be teaching) and I sing along and play with all the toys.

I LOVE to swing on my new swing set, I like it when Timothy swings next to me so I can see him, but I like it when he pushes me too.

I'm still a happy, sweet, little girl and I make everyone smile!
