It's Saturday and I was up at 6am...can't sleep anymore, and can't lay in bed. Boy do I love being pregnant!
Actually, I really do enjoy it, this time around has been so different though. I know they say that every pregnancy can be different or they can all be the same and that's no prediction of what you're having...but with Timothy I had such an easy pregnancy and this time around, while it's been easy and there haven't been any medical problems, I just feel yucky all the time. Hopefully that's no indication of Charlotte's personality! Timothy really was a very easy going baby and he still is today (although he's turned into quite the little drama king lately).
So I figured while I was up I would blog a little. I've spent the last hour reading the LOST blog that I follow and decided I should blog a little too. Yes, I am a nerd and I watch LOST and I record it and watch it like five more times during the week before the new one comes on on Thursdays and I read about all the theories online. Oh well, laugh all you want :)
So what's new in the York house? We're getting ready for our redecorating. I think we're going today or maybe tomorrow to buy all the trim and new doors and maybe new window blinds and paint to get started. Timothy's big boy room is the first project with our room to follow and then the nursery. His big boy bedding came in this week, it's so cute. It's from Potterybarn Kids and it's a cute little quilt with choo choo trains on it. He asks every night if he can go nite nite in his choo choo train bed so I want to get the room all painted and finished soon so he can really move in there!
Brandon and I finally bought a bed for ourselves. We've always just had a mattress and box springs on a bed frame on the floor but we decided it was time for a bed. It's pretty and I got all new bedding to go on it too. I'll get pictures up of everything once it's all finished.
Our dog has turned into the Houdini (not sure if I spelled that right) of all dogs. When she was a puppy, we had a fabric kennel for her to sleep in and she busted through the zipper on that so we got her a metal one. It took her a few years, but she busted through that too about this time last year. When we moved into our new house, we were excited because it had a dog run in the back behind the shed. It's actually a nice set up for her. There is the shed where she sleeps, and it has a heater so she can stay warm and then it has a doggy door that leads out to the dog run so she can get outside if she wants. We noticed a couple of weeks ago that she had a really bad cut on her leg but we couldn't figure out why and then noticed a few nights ago that she had torn a hole in the chain link fence door of the dog run...yep, that's right. Our 20 pound little Boston Terrier has ripped through a chain link fence. There is no containing this dog. Anyone interested in a three year old house-trained escape artist?
Timothy is growing like crazy. He's learning his colors a little better now. Last night we had dinner at the Brazile's house and him and Ethan were playing with some cars and I asked him to bring me a red car and he did. Might have been a fluke, but we've been practicing with m&m's. He also amazes us with how many songs he knows. Bryan and Candice got him a Veggietales CD for his birthday and we were listening to it in the car and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star came on and he just sang right along...hand motions and everything! He also sings this other song that I can't figure out, but he sings it all the time. I'll have to ask at daycare if they can figure out what he's saying.
Today we're going with Candice and Ethan and Lara to the Mommy and Me at the Zoo day. The weather isn't great, but they have some indoor things to do too so maybe we'll stay dry! Timothy is pretty excited to see monkeys though. He's really gotten into the movie the Jungle Book lately so he thinks we're going to see those monkeys...guess he'll be disappointed when they don't sing and dance.
Anyway, this has turned into a pretty long rambling so I'll end it now. Happy Mother's Day!!

Hey Lindsay! - I saw your blogspot on Mandy's blogspot & thought I'd comment to you. You seem to be doing well with your cute family & your boys are too cute! I'm having a boy, here, soon in August, I assume you know that. Its starting to get uncomfortable, now, LOL, I guess thats what happens, LOL. I guess you also heard the news about our dad. I'm going to miss Him, terribly. I was able to see Andrea, Clark, & their cute babies, too, but under unfortunate circumstances. Check out our blog, maybe we can keep in touch?
Take Care! - Courtney Justice Knight
