Rejected

So tonight was the first night ever that Timothy has asked for Brandon to put him to bed. I finished drying his hair after his bath and he reached for Brandon and told me, "bye bye mommy". I tried to get him to come to me, but he only had eyes for daddy tonight. I went in his room with them while Brandon was sitting down in the rocking chair to read to him and Timothy actually hugged me, kissed me, and then pushed me away. I'm trying really hard not to cry. I'm really happy that he's turning into such a daddy's boy lately, but this little bit of rejection was hard. Anyway, nothing new to report, just a sad night for mommy!
