Baby Santa

We went to the mall today to get pictures taken for our Christmas cards, they were so much fun. Nevermind the fact that we had a 1pm appointment and we didn't get out of there til almost 3pm, Timothy stayed happy for the pictures and we got some really good ones. You'll all get one, we got so many of them.

We haven't had a particularly funny week this week, which is unusual for Timothy. He's been more fussy than normal and not sleeping much. Maybe it's just a growth spurt. He's really sitting up and crawling well now though. He's trying to crawl with his feet instead of his knees. It's so cute. And he's learned how to pull himself up in his crib so daddy had to lower the mattress yesterday. I can't believe he'll be 7 months old next Sunday.

We're all geared up for our trip to TX for Thanksgiving. I'm trying to figure out what to pack, I only want to take the cutest clothes for him so I can show him off. Not like it's hard, he's so smiley we can barely make it through the grocery store or the mall without having to have the "yes, he's a very happy baby, yes he's very alert, yes, he's very smiley" conversation. Oh well, I'm thankful to have such a great baby. A little worried about what the next one will be like, but I guess it doesn't matter, we'll love it no matter what.

A little bit of good news, the house we wanted to get it pretty much ours unless something weird comes up from our application (which we don't anticipate happening). The lady that owns it called today to ask how serious we were about moving there to which I replied extremely so she said it's pretty much ours! I'll try to get some pictures up of it when I can. I haven't tried disabling the anti-virus, but thanks for the suggestion Jamey! So Brandon will be out of town in early December and as soon as he gets back, we'll start moving! I want to be in there before Christmas so I can set up the tree and decorate for Timothy's first Christmas.

This next week should be pretty busy getting ready for TX and finishing up things at work. No news yet on the stay at home option, I'm just waiting to hear back from a girl at church about possibly babysitting her daughter for her, so we'll see how that goes! Hopefully it will all work out.

I hope the babysitting thing works out for you! It would be a great way to spend as much time as possible with Timothy, while helping someone else out at the same time! Plus, he would have a playmate. (Maybe he will learn to share better than Avery. She even has a hard time sharing with our dog.)

Have fun in TX. Jamey's parents are coming to see us.
