June?

Where did this month go? I promise I had things I wanted to blog about, but we've been so busy!! I seriously have been up till 11pm or later every night working on a million things and I feel like I haven't even gotten much accomplished and I've certainly been a bad blogger :) I have three month pictures of Caroline and other random things that have been going on...but for now, I'll just post some silly pictures and leave you with that to wrap up May 2011!

Happy Birthday Brandon

Last week Brandon turned 31 (hope you don't mind me sharing your age) and for the first time that I can remember we really made the day all about him!! Anyone that knows him well knows that he's not really into celebrating much of anything or making a big deal out of holidays or anything (drives me crazy, but what can you do!), and for many years his birthdays have come and gone without much celebration, but I wanted this year to be different.

He's had a big year, he became a father again, moved his family across the country, got a much-deserved promotion at work, has taken on a lot of new responsibilities at church, and has grown into an even better husband and father, so I thought it was about time he got a present that showed him how much we all love and appreciate him! He had the day off of work, so he and Timothy got to go on Timothy's last school field trip together, then they had a daddy/son date to get an oil change on the car and grab some mexican food and ice cream for lunch. While they were gone, the girls and I (mostly I) were busy making his cake and wrapping his present. We met my mom for dinner (yummy BBQ) and watched him open his present! I was surprisingly sneaky, because I can't usually keep a secret, and had conspired with my parents and his parents to buy him a new set of golf clubs for his birthday. I think for once, I actually surprised him!!

I think he had a great day and more than anything, it was nice to get a chance to devote a whole day to him and make sure he knows how much we all love him and appreciate him! Thanks for all the phone calls and emails and cards and facebook messages, he loved them all :)

Swing Set Fun

The kids have been enjoying their new swing set every chance they get...the weather up here has been so yucky this spring that there haven't been too many days to get outside and play...but that hasn't stopped them much! Timothy even played out there one day in pouring down rain and hail! I'm hoping the weather will warm up soon so they can get out there even more. I love that the entire back of our house is windows so I can watch them while they play if I can't be out there with them. We're hoping to plant a garden soon so I'm sure I'll be out there a lot more!! Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Two Months Old

As usual, I'm late posting this and Caroline has actually been two months old for a week now...but better late than never, right? Here's what she's been up to this past month...

I love to smile and will usually smile at anyone who looks at me! I am starting to coo and "talk" more now and I especially like to talk to my Aunt Brittany.

I can hold my head up a lot better now and sometimes I roll right back over to my back when mommy puts me on my tummy...but I like tummy time and I don't usually fuss.

I'm a smart little baby and have put myself on a schedule (but we'll see how long it lasts!). For now, I usually sleep from 10-5 and then again after mommy feeds me I sleep till 8:30 unless we have to leave the house before then. I usually nap once in the morning and once in the afternoon and I cat nap in the evening. I am always hungry and ready to nurse at 9pm and I usually fall asleep around 10pm. Mommy loves my schedule!

I got to meet my Meme and Pawpaw this month and I love them so much. I liked to take naps while they held me and I liked smiling at them too :)

I'm generally a happy and content little girl, I like to watch my brother and sister and I like to be held sometimes...I also like to just lay on the floor or the couch and kick my feet. I'm trying really hard to laugh, but I just can't figure it out quite yet....I'll get the hang of it soon though!

I went to the doctor this week and I weigh 12 pounds and am 23.5 inches long. The doctor said I'm in the 80th percentile and I'm growing fast! I wear mostly 3 month size clothes and some 3-6 month clothes.

I'm hoping mommy will get my pictures and update on here sooner next month, I'll be three months old on daddy's birthday so maybe she'll remember!! Haha!

Birthday Boy

Timothy turned five last week, it's still scary to think he's five and he'll go to Kindergarten this fall but here we are I guess! He know begins or ends almost every sentence with "because I'm 5 years old now"...it's great :) We kept things low key this year and had a party at home just for family. Brandon's parents were able to come so it was a great weekend, the kids were really excited to see them. I think the best presents so far have been the swing set, guitar, and lego gun. He also got a ton of new art supplies which is always a hit around here! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

It's still a little crazy to think that my baby boy is FIVE!! We had a great birthday weekend and as soon as I get them uploaded, I'll post pictures! Happy Birthday Timothy! We all love you so much!

Another Look Alike

OK, here we go again...in order, Timothy then Charlotte then Caroline...it's crazy to me how much they all look so much alike!! And they are some pretty cute little babies if I do say so myself!!
