Happy Birthday Meme!!

I couldn't get the video to upload yesterday, but hopefully it's better late than never :)

My Early Birthday Present to Myself!!

I read online a while back that possibly my most favorite Christian fiction author, Francine Rivers, was going to be in Houston the weekend before my birthday for a book signing. I begged Brandon to PLEASE let me go and he gave the OK and I have been anxiously anticipating this for WEEKS!! She was there signing copies of her new book "Her Mother's Hope" along with Beth Moore who was signing copies of her new book "So Long Insecurity" so I figured I'd just go ahead and get both books while I was there, I mean, how often do you get to meet not just one, but two best selling authors! Anyway, here are a couple of pictures that I got, we were told that we couldn't do posed pictures with Francine Rivers so the only one I got with her in it was right when they came in and were setting up...but Beth Moore was all about taking pictures with everyone, so she graciously posed for a picture with me! This was one of the best birthday gifts I could have asked for...yes, I had to drive six hours round trip, but it was totally worth it!

Here Comes the Sun

Today was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! Perfect weather, nice and sunny, warm but not hot, a gentle breeze but not windy...it was so nice! Timothy played outside by himself while I finished up some cooking and cleaning and then when Charlotte woke up we joined him in the backyard for some nice spring play time. It was going great until I came in to finish dinner and probably 10 minutes later they were both crying because they had been pouring water over their heads and were wet and covered in sand...oh well. They both went into the bath tub, got a nice warm dinner, watched some of The Princess and the Frog (love it!!) and then it was off to bed! I always think they sleep better when the have some good quality outside play time :) Anyway, here are some of the pictures, the rest are on facebook, enjoy!!

Trying to Go Green

I dressed the kids up in green today so that no one would pinch them at story time this morning...I thought I would attempt to get a cute picture of them together when we got home, but as you can see, it didn't work out so well! Oh well, Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

These are the beautiful roses that Brandon got me for our anniversary


Charlotte asking for "more" of something...the problem is that I usually have no idea what she wants!

At least in this case I still got a smile out of her instead of screaming!

Her newest trick is to play with the computer...she can climb up into the chair (she can climb up onto anything these days) and she loves to push the buttons. So, needless to say, we've had to start locking the computer so she can't do any damage!

These are such a cute idea! For anyone that doesn't already know, my little sister got engaged a few weeks ago, and then this past week the kids and I got a package in the mail! Inside were three little cards and three cookies. The cards (in case you can't read them) say "Will you be my ring bearer?", "Will you be my flower girl?", and "Will you be my matron of honor?". The cookie in the picture was Charlotte's flower girl cookie...there was also a ring cookie and a bridesmaid cookie, but I have no idea what happened to them :)

Six Years Ago Today....

I married my best friend! Each year just keeps getting better and better, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for Brandon and I this year! Happy Anniversary babe, I love you!
